A designer who cares about conversions?

Good heavens, who heard of such a thing?!? My clients do refer to me as a unicorn. 😉 I love love the branding, the color and layout work, but I care even more about how my designs perform.

So I have one question for you:

Truth?

Sometimes we need an outsider’s help.

When you’re entrenched in your business, it can be hard to see the forest for the trees. And it sucks when you have to hire 3 different people to get the job done, doesn’t it?

This is what makes me so unicorn-y 😉 I help with marketing, design and execution by: 1. helping you quickly diagnose marketing message problems 2. designing pages and 3. building out your funnel, so we can then split test and troubleshoot!

I always start with 6 key questions that reveal the hidden desires of your prospects, and the emotional triggers that compel them to buy.
1.  What transformation does your product or service deliver?
2.   What promise are you making to prospects?
3.   How much exposure have they had to similar promises?
4.   What makes your promise unique and emotionally compelling?
5.   What must your prospects believe in order to purchase your product or service?
6.   What kind of irresistible offer are you making to your prospect?
Even if we don’t work together, answering these six questions when developing your marketing message will be tremendously valuable!

As a designer I hate to admit it, but your problem isn’t your design.

A highly effective marketing message is built around the answers to these six questions.

We all have seen ugly sales pages that sell. It still happens – even in 2018! Why? These marketers have created a compelling, believable promise that taps into their prospects deep desire for transformation. It’s this desire for transformation that undergirds our buying decisions.

You may be thinking “I already know these answers.” or “My messaging is solid it’s the design that needs work.” Both may be true! It’s also true you’re on my page right now. 😉 And that’s no coincidence. Something isn’t working, and that’s ok because we’re gonna fix it! Yea I said process. I’m not going to blow sunshine up your butt. 🙂 Answering these questions thoughtfully takes a little time. The good news is once you do, it becomes a solid foundation to springboard the rest of your marketing.

The 6 Questions

This is where we get on a call or Zoom and talk through the six questions. We’ll talk through your past test results, data, ads etc. and brainstorm ideas to develop a marketing message that connects with your prospects on that deep, emotional level.

Write & Design

Next we review the brainstorming notes from Phase 1 and get down to writing some copy and then developing design and layout elements to assist that messaging.

Launch
& Test

Next we thoroughly test everything that’s been built. Muy importante! Then we decide upon a testing sequence and schedule to identify where we can optimize for conversions!

  3. Email triggers
  4. Checkout

I’ve designed pages in all of the major landing page builders, and can work with any you choose. However, I do prefer to work with clients who use Clickfunnels.
